ohana means no one gets left behind or forgotten

I saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind tonight. Incredible film. Amazing. Astounding. I was floored, breathless, and it hit me like a tidal wave. Gondry's visuals are surreal and beautiful. Lots of little touches, like in the bookstore near the end. Jim Carrey is subtle, so different than he's ever been before. The other actors are all great, as well. I highly recommend the film.

However.

If you've recently come out of relationship, be ready for this movie to jump up and down on you like Wrestlemania. I thought I was fine, only misted over at one point during the movie. But on the car ride home, I completely broke down, starting crying my eyes out. Thank you, Nate, for being there for me. You really helped me get through it this evening. I wish I had been around more for you last year.
